MyPlan is a PowerPoint based Individual Learning Plan and e-portfolio for Secondary Students.

Students can set their own goals and strategies and manage their own progress through 5 years of secondary school.

Special features include:

• a detailed 5 year financial management plan which enables students to learn to budget their own money.
• an attendance chart by which they monitor and manage their attendance record.
• a self analysis learning styles chart.

The DVD includes a complete PowerPoint pro-forma of MyPlan with full student instructions on every page.  Schools also receive a comprehensive Teacher Guide handbook.  All documents and computer files are tailored to your school with your logo and references to your own systems and programs where relevant. The size of the MyPlan pro-forma therefore varies from school to school but a typical MyPlan starts out at about 100 pages until it is changed by students adding or subtracting pages in their own version.

Students can work through MyPlan at their own pace with little or no direct input from teachers.  MyPlan transforms Transition Portfolios and Individual Learning Plans into a creative PowerPoint presentation with major additions on strategic planning, personal financial management, career interest testing, learning style analysis and attendance improvement. 

Each copy of MyPlan is school specific and will include your logo and references to your own programs such as career guidance testing etc.  It is supplied on DVD for mounting on the school intranet.  Each DVD includes:

MyPlan is structured so that it can be used in each secondary school year level.  All students start at the first page and stop at a point appropriate for their year level.  Students “own” MyPlan and are encouraged to format it and adapt it to show their own creativity.  MyPlan also offers a very simple and effective assessment tool for students. For example, it is being used in South Australia at Stage One of the SA Certificate of Education (SACE) and for the new Personal Learning Plan ( PLP).
