MyPlan is a PowerPoint based Individual Learning Plan and e-portfolio for Secondary Students.

Students can set their own goals and strategies and manage their own progress through 5 years of secondary school.

  • Insertion of your school's logo on all documentation.
  • A visit to your school to instruct teachers in its use (for just the cost of any travel and accommodation required outside Adelaide S.A.)

What does MyPlan 2010 do?

• MyPlan transforms Transition Portfolios and Individual Learning Plans into a creative PowerPoint presentation with major additions on:
• strategic planning,
• personal financial management,
• career planning and interest testing,
• learning style analysis,
• attendance improvement,
• work experience planning and reporting,
• community service, and
• subject and course selection. 

MyPlan is structured so that it can be used in each secondary school year level.  Students “own” MyPlan and are encouraged to format it and adapt it to show their own creativity.  MyPlan also offers a very simple and effective assessment tool for students. For example, it has been used in South Australia at Stage One (year 10) of the SA Certificate of Education (SACE) and for the Personal Learning Plan ( PLP).

MyPlan is a tool for learning the skills required to take control of your own life; including career, education, wealth, leisure and other interests.  It is also a presentation medium – containing, among other things,  a résumé and certificates of achievement.

Students can use it to present evidence of progress towards set learning goals. (For example, the 5 capabilities of the Personal Learning Plan in the South Australian Certificate of Education – Communication, Citizenship, Personal Development, Work, and Learning.)  MyPlan is capable of being used flexibly to achieve these objectives.  It can be divided into separate components and easily referenced to external documents.
